MDIPP was founded by Adam and Nate Golden to analyze Baltimore City and Maryland policy through a progressive lens. We merge expertise in data science, legal analysis, and policy research with firsthand experience as educators and public defenders in Baltimore City. Our goal is for MDIPP to be both a think tank and an advocacy organization that translates policy papers into real change for the people of Maryland.
